Our bands and DJs have no problem packing your dance floor, but getting people to go home can sometimes be difficult. When an NPi Entertainment wedding ends - nobody wants to leave! Announcing a fun afterparty is one way to end our sets and still make sure your guests are able to keep the party going.
Here are ten popular Cleveland destinations to check out for post-wedding meetups. We strongly recommend calling ahead a day or two in advance to make sure that they will have space for your group. Keep in mind, sometimes venues will offer discounts, free admission or other perks when you bring large parties.
TownHall 1909 W.25th Street, Cleveland, OH | www.townhallohiocity.com
Clevelander’s know W.25th as a great food and drink destination. TownHall is one of the busiest on the street and is always a fun time on a weekend night. They have a huge draft beer selection and serve food until closing time (after 2 AM). They have patios in the front and back and they also have great DJs on the weekend (most are NPi DJs).
The Happy Dog 5801 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH | www.happydogcleveland.com
The Happy Dog features a hot dog menu with a crazy amount of toppings (and tater tots), a huge bar, and a calendar full of great indie rock bands. This is a recipe for a different and awesome afterparty. There’s even a tiny cool bar in the basement that often gets overlooked but is worth a visit.
Lago East Bank 1091 W.10th Street, Cleveland, OH | www.lagoeastbank.com
Located in the Flats East Bank, this great Italian restaurant has a clubby, yet cozy, vibe. Their drinks are strong, their dishes large and they often have great DJs (more NPi DJs!). During the summer, they have a huge patio with a full bar out front where you can chill with a beverage, listen to some beats and people watch. It’s right next door to the Aloft, where hopefully you have a room booked.
Forest City Shuffleboard 4506 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, OH | www.forestcityshuffle.com
If you want more than food and drink (though they have that too), Forest City is a great option to give your guests a game to play. Comprised of indoor and outdoor shuffle board courts, this spot has plenty of space for a larger group to spread out. It’s also close to Platform Brewery and The Plum, two other Cleveland sure shots.
Bar 32 (inside the Hilton) 100 Lakeside Ave E, Cleveland, OH | website
The Hilton website says it all: “32 floors above the skyline with direct views of the splashing waves of Lake Erie and the cityscape is our one of kind Bar 32.” This swank bar isn’t huge, so definitely call ahead if you have a large party. This is like no other bar in Cleveland and is definitely worth a visit.
Grog Shop / B Side 2785 Euclid Hts Blvd, Cleveland Heights, OH | www.grogshop.gs
Located on Coventry in Cleveland Heights, the Grog Shop is a Cleveland legend. This gritty rock club has been around for close to 30 years and features local and national touring acts on almost every day of the week. If your wedding ends early enough, a cool afterparty idea would be to hit up a show here. In the mood to keep on dancing? Then go downstairs to their sister club – The B Side Lounge – which features DJs on weekends.
Lava Lounge 1307 Auburn Ave, Cleveland, OH | www.coolplacestoeat.com
Another old school legend is the Lava Lounge. This two-floor bar restaurant is a Tremont original and features killer small plates, a well curated drink list and awesome DJs (more NPi peeps spin here!). They even have a small hidden patio out back.
Speakeasy Cleveland 1948 W.25th St, Cleveland, OH | www.1948w25.com
The same folks behind Market Garden Brewery run this popular bar on W.25th. Located below Bar Cento, you’d never know there was a full-on dance party happening down below at Speakeasy. DJs spin a mix of throwbacks - which always work well for a revved up post-wedding group.
Galaxy Karaoke 1593 E. 30th, Cleveland, OH | www.galaxyktv88.com
This mega karaoke club is a “Cosmic-themed bar for amateur singing.” You can perform in the bar’s main lounge or rent one of their private rooms for some secret singing. The vibes are wild and it’s in the heart of Asiatown, so late night eats are to be found nearby.
FWD Day + Nightclub 1176 Front Ave, Cleveland, OH | www.fwdnightclub.com
When your summer wedding ends (even if it’s late), the line at this club is just beginning. Located on the East Bank of the Flats (right on the river), this outdoor club is a warm weather hot spot for Cleveland’s clubbers. You’re already dressed to impress, so why not pop some bottles with your besties? Make sure you check out their calendar because they have top notch touring DJs (and NPi DJs) all summer long.
