The trend we noticed the most this year was the "Private Last Dance." The way it works is like this - the DJ will play one final song for all the wedding guests. When the song ends, the venue will empty so that the couple can have one last dance in private. Generally, it'll take a team - the DJ, venue staff, planner, etc - to get the audience to leave the room. NPi DJs pack the dance floor, so getting people to leave it isn't always easy!
We're guessing that if this intimate dance becomes a tradition, guests will understand what's happening and leave a bit quicker. We suggest having an afterparty lined up, which, when announced, will help get the show on the road.
